Description:
The Muscular Dystrophy Association of Canada is a national voluntary agency incorporated in 1954 by a group of parents and friends of children with Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
Today, MDAC is working to combat over 40 neuromuscular disorders. We're committed to funding leading research to find the causes, treatments, preventions, and cures for each of the disorders. But until we do find a cure, we provide information, vital services, and hope to tens of thousands of Canadians living with neuromuscular disorders.
